Position: Billing & Validation Administrator

Job summary:

We are looking to recruit a Billing Administrator to act in a central administration function, performing duties around order validation, invoicing and applications to our build partners

The successful candidate in a central administration function, performing duties around order validation, invoicing and applications to partner such as Virgin Media.  A professional and confidential manner will be required at all times.

Role & Responsibilities:

Validation duties:

  • Validate orders/jobs received from the customer with in SLA’s
  • Upload order/jobs on EOS database
  • Quality check every order/job
  • Refer jobs back to the customer
  • Emailing job packs to the relevant Planning Manager
  • Answering internal & external stakeholders with job queries proactively
  • Update Force (clients’ database system) daily
  • Responsible for the Emergency Response Service (ERS) phone with in working hours

Billing duties:

  • Validation of drawings on job packs and ‘as-builts’
  • Validation of supplier invoices
  • Processing application to Virgin Media
  • Store all back up information on the system
  • Exception payments and reporting
  • Uploading documents and process onto EOS database
  • Dealing with Deviation From Estimates (DFE’s)
  • Ensure sales target are met
  • Control of work in progress
  • Responsible for own health and safety and adhering to company policy and procedures
  • Responsible for ongoing personal development to assist the business
  • Any other duties commensurate with the accountabilities of the post.

  • Rejections time scale dealt with
  • Volume of invoices processed
  • Cycle time of invoices processed

 Experience, Qualifications & Behaviours

  • Invoicing or customer service environment desirable
  • Knowledge of telecommunication or business & civils engineering is desirable
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft packages incl Excel, Word and databases
  • Teamwork – Ability to work in a strong team environment and works well with others
  • Communication – Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly & listens effectively
