Position: 1st Line Support Analyst / IT Analyst Support

Location: Derby

 

Job Summary:

You will be working as part of a small team of analyst who provide IT support for multiple sites. Being the front line, fielding all IT related calls from the business. You will have a keen problem-solving thought process, aiming to resolve issues during the initial contact.

In joining the department, we will need someone who can hit the ground running.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide end user support both over the phone and in person
  • Log, prioritize and take ownership of tickets until resolution
  • Set up new user accounts, profiles and O365 mailboxes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows workstations/laptops, printers, and other devices
  • Configure/Troubleshoot tablets and mobile phones
  • Supporting operating systems and applications

Skills & Qualifications required:

  • Basic network troubleshooting skills
  • Supporting Microsoft Windows 10 operating systems
  • Azure, MS Exchange and on Prem Active Directory users, groups
  • Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications
  • Experience of configuring and troubleshooting workstations, laptops, and tablets

Preferred but not essential:

  • Experience with Intune
  • An understanding of firewall and VPN operations
